Aaron Timmons

Aaron joined KSTC/AdvanceKentucky in August 2016 and currently serves as the Executive Director of AdvanceKentucky, a statewide initiative expanding access to and success in rigorous coursework for all students across Kentucky, specifically in math, science, English/Capstone, and computer science.  Since 2008, AdvanceKentucky has trained and/or worked with over 5,000 teachers while supporting over 125,000 student enrollments.  Prior to AdvanceKentucky, he taught mathematics, including AP Calculus AB and BC, for 10 years.  Aaron earned a BS in mathematical economics from the University of Kentucky and completed master’s programs at UK and Eastern Kentucky University. He resides in Woodford County with his wife and 2 children..
