Stephanie Carter

After 27 years in the classroom, Stephanie joined KSTC full-time as the English and Capstone Content Director in June of 2022. She has been affiliated with AdvanceKentucky since 2009 when she joined Cohort 1 as a first-year AP English Language and Composition teacher. Since then, she’s served as a Consultant, Mentor, and Regional Advisor for the College Readiness Program. She is also a National Math and Science Institute AP Consultant for both AP English Language and AP Seminar and a Laying the Foundation Trainer (certified for grades 8-12 ELA). On behalf of the College Board, Stephanie has been involved with the AP Capstone program since its inception as a member of the AP Seminar Curriculum and Assessment Development Committee and the AP Capstone Advisory Committee. Currently, she’s an AP Seminar APSI Consultant and Table Leader for the Reading.
