Monique Rice

Monique Rice brings more than 20 years in the classroom to her work as Director of Emerging Technology Education Initiatives (ETEI) at AdvanceKentucky — where she now works to ensure Kentucky students and teachers have the tools, training, and support to thrive in a technology-driven world. She oversees programs including the Code.org Regional Partnership, CS+Additive Manufacturing, and CS+Engineering — working to expand access and opportunity for students across Kentucky.

Monique co-chairs the Kentucky ECEP (Expanding Computing Education Pathways) team and serves on the advisory committee for Code.org's Regional Partners.

Before transitioning to her current role, she taught high school math in Washington, D.C. public schools. Monique has consulted for the College Board on AP and Pre-AP math and held leadership roles in AP Calculus exam reading.
