Monique Rice

Monique Rice, a passionate advocate for computer science (CS) education, leads AdvanceKentucky's CS initiatives as Program Director. She oversees programs like the Code.org Regional Partnership, iCodeKY, and CS+Engineering. Monique co-chairs the Kentucky ECEP (Expanding Computing Education Pathways) team and serves on the advisory committee for Code.org's Regional Partners. She recently joined the CSforALL SCRIPT Facilitator Steering Committee.

Before transitioning to her current role, she spent over 20 years teaching high school math in Washington, D.C. public schools. Monique has consulted for the College Board on AP and Pre-AP math and held leadership roles in AP Calculus exam reading.
