Monique Rice

Monique currently serves as the Program Director for AdvanceKentucky Computer Science (CS) Initiatives. A passionate advocate of CS education, She leads the Code.org Regional Partnership, iCodeKY, CS + Engineering, and other CS Initiatives. Monique currently serves as co-chair of the Kentucky ECEP (Expanding Computing Education Pathways) team, a member of the Code.org Regional Partner Advisory Committee, and was recently named to the CSforALL SCRIPT Facilitator Steering Committee.

Before relocating to become Math Content Director for AdvanceKentucky, Monique Morton Rice taught high school mathematics in a Washington, DC public school for over 20 years. Monique has served on several committees and writing teams, including the AP Calculus Test Development Committee and the SAT Mathematics Test Development Committee. She has been a College Board consultant for AP and Pre-AP mathematics and a reader, table leader, and question leader for the AP Calculus reading.
